Firsts!!!

Lydia laughed for the first time this week!!! We knew it was coming because she gives us little giggles but we remember so well Abigail's first laugh and how distinctive and memorable it is and have been so excited to hear Lydia's first laugh as well. And, wouldn't you know it, her first laugh was at her big sister! While we ate dinner one night this week mommy was holding Lydia and we were sitting next to Abigail. All of the sudden Lydia started smiling and cooing at Abigail. Then Abigail started smiling back at her and then Lydia starting giggling and then Abigail giggled back at her and then it happened! A great big laugh at her big sister and before we knew it we were all laughing!!! :-) It was infectious and beautiful!

This week was also Abigail's first day back to school! (First day of school pic above! :-) She's been so excited about it. She couldn't wait to meet her new teacher and see some of her friends from last year. Next year...PRE-SCHOOL!!!
