Lydia playing on grandma's dishwasher!
Happy girls!
Our little peanuts! It's been a couple of months since our last post which only means we've been so busy enjoying the summer that we haven't taken the time to keep you all posted on our happenings! :-) Nevertheless, we've been taking lots of pictures of our adventures so far this summer and loving every minute of it!
Let's start with Miss Lydia's 1st birthday! We spent her birthday weekend in DL with the grandparents and had a wonderful time. Aunt Jenna and Bobby were there as well and the girls had so much fun playing at the lake! Miss Lydia even started saying, "grandma" on her first birthday as soon as she saw my mom! Ahhh...it's good to be 1! Our little Lydia is running all over the place and saying more words than we can count. We just started taking a water babies class with her as well and she LOVES it!
Our Abigail Rose is having a happy summer as well! She finished her swimming lessons last month and now just started a Kindermusik class. She loves her friends and the highlight of her week this week is that she got to go to her friend, Ethan's, T-Ball game this week and cheer him on! She's grown up so much lately and is so thoughtful and inquisitive. She's been so sad that Michael Jackson died. In fact, one night a couple of weeks ago after she had been in bed a while I walked in to check on her only to find her still awake. I asked her why she wasn't sleeping and she said she was sad and when I asked why she said, "Because Michael Jackson died.". She had seen his daughter crying on TV earlier that day and that is what triggered it. She felt so bad that his daughter was sad and asked all about it. She's a sweetheart!
