Our baby girl is 3 today!!! :-) Wow!!! So hard to believe our baby is growing so fast! I asked her one day last week if she'd be my baby forever and she said, "Mommy, I'm growing up!". :-) That's our girl! We've had lots of fun celebrating this big event over the last week. Last weekend was her big party and it was a sugar-filled, baloon popping, present opening, dollhouse unveiling event! Yes, that's right...every little girl MUST have a dollhouse! I think mommy was almost as excited as Abigail! Won't be long and Lydia will be joining in the fun! And here's an example of the kind of daddy our girls have. Trav put in countless hours at work last week. One night getting home as late as 1:30 a.m.! And what did he do late into the night the day before the party? He stayed up putting his little girl's dollhouse together! (But he is quick to point out he watched the movie "300" in order to feel manly while doing so! :-) Anyway, today is her actual birthday and we're meeting our dear friend, Libby, along with her her mom and sister's family at the Macy's 8th floor Christmas display! Daddy even has the day off as we're making it a yearly tradition on Abigail's birthday. Can't wait!

Just a little note about our birthday girl! She has turned into quite the little lady over the last year. She's empathetic, caring, thoughtful, independent, helpful, and inquisitive. She will literally stop what she'd doing to give her little sister a hug and tell her she loves her. She asks mommy several times a day if I'm doing okay and if I'm happy. :-) She is eager to help with everything from clearing and setting the table to making her bed to making cookies. She absolutely adores her Barbies, babies and art of any kind. She's an amazing blessing from God and we are so thankful to call her our daughter!
