What a cutie! This picture melts my heart! :-) Her hair is getting so long I can now put it in a little pony tail!!! Someone (I think maybe Aunt Mandy??) said Lydia looks like her Grandma Winnie in this picture! We've also heard in the last couple weeks that she looks like her Great-grandpa Duane and Grandpa Ed!! One thing is for sure...she looks like her daddy and big sister too!!!
Bedtime books!!! :-) Abigail really likes reading to us. In fact, one night last week I caught her reading bedtime books to Afeni and then saying prayers with her!!! Abigail and Afeni have really bonded lately. It's really sweet! :-)

Technically the calendar says it's spring but according to the cold weather we've had the last couple of weeks I'm not so sure! Oh well, we know it's coming and SOON!!! Abigail talks about summer all the time and how she can't wait to ride her bike and go to the park and go swimming and go to the beach and make sand castles! :-) It's coming girly...we just have to be patient!
March has been a month full of bugs and teething at our house. Seems we haven't been able to go more than a couple weeks without someone sniffling or coughing or sneezing or throwing up or running a fever. We'll be so thankful when cold and flu season is officially done. These little bugs sure have made us appreicate our health! What a blessing it is to have our health!
The girls and I made a trip North a few weeks ago to spend a couple days with my grandparents. What a special time that always is. :-) Abigail and my grandma played non-stop and Lydia fell inlove with great-grandpa! Unfortunately, Travis had to make a trip North also this week for his grandma's funeral. The girls and I weren't able to go because they weren't feeling well. But it sure is a reminder of what a gift grandparents are!
Lydia Updates: Our baby girl is 10 1/2 months old already and crawling all over the place and FAST! She's starting to figure out she can pull herself up and wants to do EVERYTHING her big sister is doing!!! She has cut 5 teeth in the last couple of months so our poor baby has been sore (she now has a grand total of 7!!) but we know she'll appreciate them soon enough. She is signing "more" and "milk" and absolutely melted mommy's heart when she signed "more" for the first time. She was having a tough day of teething and woke up late one night so as I went to change her diaper I gave her a great big kiss on her forehead. She looked at me so intently and put those little hands together to sign "more"!!! You can bet she got more kisses...AND THEN SOME!!! :-)
Abigail Updates: Our big girl is LOVING the warmer weather! She's been out playing on the playset a few times and asks to walk to our community center instead of drive (we normally do when it's not FREEZING!). She's enjoying learning the different sounds that letters make and LOVES drawing princesses! She also loves to have us draw princesses and kings for her! She loves everything princesses and fairies!!! She's so interested in the world and asks so many wonderful questions. The last couple of months she's been very interested in people. She asks us a lot what people's mommy's and daddy's names are and who our mommy is and who our daddy is and where people work and where people are going, etc. She's so much fun!!!
